About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Sabirabad

In accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions in April 2022 by heads of central executive authorities and other government bodies, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev will receive citizens in Sabirabad city (citizens from Sabirabad, Saatly and Imishli regions) at Heydar Aliyev Center (address: Sabirabad city, Heydar Aliyev Ave. 95) on April 8, 2022 at 11:00.

At the reception, the Minister will listen to citizens’ complaints and problems related to the provision of transport, telecommunications services, including Internet, TV and radio broadcasting, and postal services in the said regions.

Those wishing to make an appointment with the Minister are requested to contact the Call Center (1655) of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport before April 7, 2022, apply via email (mincom@mincom.gov.az ) or call 012 598 58 58 ( ext. 222 and 290).

Citizens wishing to participate in the reception can also contact the telecommunications centers (050 833 03 40) in Sabirabad, Saatly and Imishli.
