About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Gakh on September 12

The date of reception of citizens by Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev in Gakh city (citizens from Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Shaki, Oghuz and Gabala regions) scheduled for 9 September 2022, in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions by heads of central executive authorities and other government bodies, has been changed.

Rashad Nabiyev will receive the citizens of the above regions on 12 September 2022 at 10:00 am at Heydar Aliyev Center located in the city of Gakh (address: Gakh city, Nariman Narimanov Ave 10).

At the reception, the minister will listen to citizens on issues of concern to them related to the provision of transport, telecommunications, including Internet, TV & radio broadcasting, and postal services in these regions.
