Minister Rashad Nabiyev meets with representatives of Azerbaijani startup ecosystem

Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Rashad Nabiyev met with representatives of the startup ecosystem of Azerbaijan.

The meeting aimed to discuss the current state, problems and prospects of the startup ecosystem in our country, identify new priorities and hear proposals.

During the discussion, it was noted that there are opportunities to return the “brain drain” to Azerbaijan, and even attract “brains” to our country from abroad.

In his speech, Rashad Nabiyev spoke about the importance of startups in the formation of an innovative environment in the country. The Minister noted that the activities of talented startuppers in Azerbaijan, the complete implementation of their knowledge and skills in the country will have a positive impact on the development of the economy and serve to strengthen our country.

Rashad Nabiyev added that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, within its powers, is ready to support startuppers, help them develop and become an important part of the digital environment. According to him, the ministry will continue to hold such meetings regularly.

“I think that today, in general, favorable conditions have been created in our country for the development of innovations and their application in various fields. I invite each of you to take an active part in the formation of an innovative environment,” the Minister said.
