Minister Rashad Nabiyev meets with President of Digital Transformation Office of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with President of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Ali Taha Koch, who is on a visit to our country.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of cybersecurity, Government Cloud and human capital development.

This year’s hosting of the TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival in Azerbaijan for the first time outside of Turkey was hailed as yet another successful example of historical friendship, brotherhood and strategic partnership between the two countries.

It was noted that the participation of President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey in the festival and the personal awarding of the winners of the competitions is an indication of the highest level of support for the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan event, as well as the activities of young people in the field of technology.

It was noted at the meeting that the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is also successfully cooperating with the Digital Transformation Office. It was added that the legal basis for this cooperation is the Roadmap of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Working Group on Digital Transformation, signed in Baku last September.

It should be noted that the agreement to establish Azerbaijani-Turkish Working Group on Digital Transformation was reached during a meeting held on February 18, 2021 in Ankara between Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and President of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Ali Taha Koch.
