About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Ramin Guluzade met with newly appointed Ambassador of France to our country

Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade met with the newly appointed Ambassador of France to our country Zacharie Gross.

The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of transport, telecommunications, innovations, information and high technologies at a meeting held in the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

They also discussed the organization of the French national pavilion, which will present products and solutions of French technology companies at the 25th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies Exhibition Bakutel-2019.
