About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Ramin Guluzade met with Executive Secretary of Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization

Today, Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade met with Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization Lassina Zerbo.

At the meeting, information was provided on the latest innovations in our country in the fields of transport and ICT, projects implemented with various organizations in the field of nuclear research, human resources development and cooperation with relevant international organizations in this area.

The issues of further cooperation of the organization with Azerbaijan, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of scientific and technical training for youth in our country were also discussed at the meeting.

The Executive Secretary expressed the readiness of the organization for further active cooperation with Azerbaijan in this field.
