Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade pays a visit to Russia

The delegation led by Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade paid a visit to the Russian Federation.

During the visit, Ramin Guluzade held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Dietrich.

They exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, as well as measures to increase the volume of transit freight traffic through the international transport corridor North-South at the meeting, which took place in the city of Moscow.

Negotiations were held between the delegations of the two countries on the use after the commissioning of the bridge being built across the Samur River near the Samur checkpoints (Republic of Azerbaijan) – Yarag-Kazmalyar (Russian Federation) on the Azerbaijani-Russian border, and the Platon system.

The expansion of cooperation in the organization of joint rescue operations in the Caspian Sea, air transportation and digitization of transport were also discussed.

The two sides also agreed to allow working group on the regulation of cargo transportation between Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia to conduct negotiations and prepare documents.
