Memorandum of Understanding signed between Central Bank and Ministry of Digital Development and Transport

Taking into account the importance of AI-based solutions that have become relevant in recent times and the contribution they can make to the development of various sectors, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport have signed the relevant Memorandum of Understanding.

The main purpose of signing the memorandum is to support projects, initiatives and ideas in the field of artificial intelligence in our country, including the implementation of joint projects in the financial markets, organization of activities to build skills, technologies, ecosystem, infrastructure and management mechanisms in the field of artificial intelligence, which will turn Azerbaijan into a regional leader in this field.

Within this cooperation, measures will be taken to attract AI-based startups and companies to Azerbaijan, promote AI-based innovations in various sectors, and establish cooperation with leading organizations to enhance solutions and skills in this field. At the same time, in order to increase the level of knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, attention will be focused on such issues as organizing relevant trainings, workshops and conferences.
