About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Meeting held with TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan volunteers

Adviser to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Bayramov has met with volunteers who will take part in the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace & Technology Festival.

First of all, gratitude was expressed to the young people who voluntarily joined the festival.

Rashad Bayramov said that volunteering plays an important role in improving the knowledge and skills of young people, as well as expanding their worldview.

During the meeting, the volunteers were informed in detail about their activities at the festival, and they were given recommendations.

At the same time, suggestions from volunteers for the festival were listened to.
