About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Martyr children visit Communications Museum at Ministry of Digital Development & Transport

A Communications Museum was organized at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the establishment of telephone communications in Azerbaijan.

The Museum was visited by children of martyr communications workers, veterans, as well as April and Tovuz battles.

The children got acquainted with the exhibits and listened with great interest to the information about their history and use.

They read out poems on the theme of patriotism.

In conclusion, the children were presented with gifts.
