First internship program successfully completed in Cyberattack Simulation Lab

The internship program, announced by the Cyberattack Simulation Laboratory operating under the Data Processing Center (DPC) of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has come to an end.
In this regard, the leadership of DPC held a meeting with the participants in the program. The meeting was attended by Acting Director of DPC Elkhan Azizov, Deputy Director Inara Veliyeva, as well as Head of the Information Security Department of DPC Sadig Yolchuyev.
Congratulating the participants of the meeting, Elkhan Azizov noted the acquired knowledge and skills and spoke about the role of the internship program in building a successful career. He pointed out that the training priorities of the internship program were determined in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, and the process was organized in this direction.
Inara Veliyeva stressed that nowadays, cybersecurity is a strategic issue that has a serious impact on all sectors of society, as well as industrial sectors. Noting that a flexible, responsive and effective fight against cyber threats is a priority, the Deputy Director recommended that young people improve their knowledge in this area and obtain international certificates.
Then the participants spoke and shared their impressions of the program, expressed gratitude to the leadership of DPC for the created conditions, as well as to the instructors who supported them during the internship.
Upon completion of the program, the participants were given diplomas.
It is worth mentioning that 30 specialists who attended the internship program during two months received relevant knowledge and skills in preparing a report for research, configuring security platforms (SIEM), monitoring threats, organizing cyberattacks, detecting and eliminating vulnerabilities.
It should be noted that the participants who have successfully completed the internship program and acquired a high level of knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity will be provided with jobs.
