About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to widen the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

First Deputy Minister to receive citizens in Goygol on July 18

The First Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ali Abdullayev will receive citizens in Goygol region on July 18 at 11:00.

At the reception, Ali Abdullayev will listen to complaints and suggestions from citizens related to the provision of transport, telecommunications services (including Internet, TV and radio broadcasting), postal services, service culture and issues of concern to the population in this area.
