Festive fun organized for martyrs' children remembered for touching moments

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies together with the Public Union Zafar: Support for Martyrs’ Families organized a festive fun for the children of martyrs on the eve of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year holiday.

Before the festival, the children wrote letters to Santa Claus in which they said what presents they would like to receive for the New Year. These letters were read by employees of the Ministry, who met the children’s wishes. Despite the fact that the Ministry did everything possible to turn the festive fun into an unforgettable and memorable day for the children, some moments described by them in the letters to Santa Claus touched the hearts of many.

The letter written to Santa Claus by Umid, the son of martyr Senior Lieutenant Nurid Abdullayev said: “We want our father to be with us on these and all subsequent holidays. If he comes, my mother, my brother, my grandmother and I will be happy. We will all be happy.”

The wishes of Nihad, the son of martyr Major Ahmed Abdullayev were: “I want to write my wishes that I have been dreaming about for a long time. I want all fathers to survive in 2020, so that we are the last children to grow up without a father. This is my biggest dream.”

Although Santa Claus was not able to fulfill some wishes, he congratulated and pleased each child with a gift.

Note that Santa Claus came to the children’s meeting with gifts that they wished to have in their letters. The event also featured special contests and entertaining games for children.

In conclusion, the children gathered around the Christmas tree had a good time with Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and other fairy-tale heroes.
