European Rocket League Championship launched within TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan
Cyber athletes representing 10 European countries, including Azerbaijan, began to compete in the Rocket League Championship.
European Rocket League Championship kicked off as part of the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival, to be held for the first time in Baku on 26–29 May this year, jointly organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey.
In total, 30 competitors in 10 teams from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Wales began to compete in the Rocket League Championship.
A total of 21 representatives from national federations, including the European Esports Federation, are on an official visit to Baku to watch the competitions.
It should be noted that the European Esports Federation and the Azerbaijan Esports Federation are the organisers of the championship. In addition, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport provides organizational and financial support to the international tournament.
