About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Director of State Civil Aviation Agency decorated with anniversary medal "100th anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)"

By the order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated May 27, 2019, director of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Arif Ahmed Oglu Mammadov was awarded the anniversary medal “100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)”.

The honorary medal was presented to Arif Mammadov by Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov.

The director of the State Civil Aviation Agency expressed his deep appreciation to President Ilham Aliyev for his attention.
