Deputy Minister Rahman Hummatov met with head of Foreign Economic Relations Group of Austrian Federal Ministry for Digital & Economic Affairs

A bilateral meeting was held in Baku between Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rahman Hummatov and head of the Foreign Economic Relations Group of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Economic Affairs of the Republic of Austria Franz Wessig.

The current economic, scientific and technical relations between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.

It was noted that the Joint Commission on Economic, Agricultural, Industrial, Technical and Technological Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Austria is an effective platform.

There was also an exchange of views on the importance of the 10th Meeting of the Commission and the organization of the Azerbaijani-Austrian business forum.

It should be noted that from the Azerbaijani side, the co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic, Agricultural, Industrial, Technical and Technological Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Austria is Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, and from the Austrian side – Franz Vessig.
