Cyberattack simulation laboratory established at Data Processing Center

A cyberattack simulation laboratory has been established at the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

The laboratory is aimed at studying processes related to cybersecurity, train specialists in this field and take measures against possible cyberattacks. It is also planned to check vulnerabilities in systems, provide security audit services. In the laboratory, where specialists will conduct regular simulation attacks, it will also be possible to prepare projects of the center, as well as IT reports for use by other agencies.

Note that the acquisition of skills in organizing simulation attacks plays an important role in the training of cybersecurity specialists. This will allow specialists to accurately study the attack techniques, identify vulnerabilities in the systems under test, and eliminate shortcomings in a timely manner. The laboratory established on cloud infrastructure provides a completely isolated environment and allow infrastructure changes to be made in a shorter period of time.

It is worth noting that practical programs will be regularly announced in the laboratory to train personnel in the field of cybersecurity. The candidates selected for the practical programs will perform a variety of tasks and participate in simulated attacks.
