It should be noted that the main purpose of the competition Baku Skills is to reveal talents that perfectly use 3D printing technology. 3D printing is one of the most revolutionary technologies, and the effective use of appropriate technological capabilities by the younger generation is one of the main requirements of our day. 3D printing skills are very important in the development of innovative products and prototypes, in the design of details and mechanical parts, as well as in various methods of designing models. In addition to being a creative technology, 3D printing gives students the opportunity to think about how to solve problems using CAD software.
Those who want to take part in the Baku Skills competition must have basic 3D modelling skills in any software, be able to download STL/VRML file extensions or print a model for 3D printing.
We would like to underline that all participants who complete the registration process will be provided with the latest generation 3D printers and PLA/ABS filaments. At different stages of the competition, participants will be given tasks related to designing CAD models and printing them.
