Aztelecom LLC provided high-speed Internet to over 7 thousand households in Zagatala
Aztelecom LLC has provided 7,036 households in Zagatala region with high-speed Internet using GPON technology. These services are currently used by 4,746 subscribers.
The relevant work has already been completed in 11 villages, 1 settlement and 1 residential area of the region, as well as in 10 avenues and 1 street of the city.
The work is under way in the region’s Yukhari Tala, Ashaghi Tala, Yengiyan, Mosul, Mughanli, Makov, Yolayrij, Hoytala, Pashan villages, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, Faig Amirov, Anar Hamidov, Imam Shamil, Nizami, Vidadi, H.Z.Taghiyev and 28 May streets of the city.
With the introduction of the new GPON technology, subscribers are offered higher-speed Internet packages (from 30 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s). The packages are as follows:
–Internet
–Internet+telephony
–Internet+television
– Internet+telephony+television.
Service charges range from 18 to 54 AZN, depending on the tariff chosen and user requirements.

It should be noted that relevant work to provide high-speed Internet in other regions of the country is going on as planned within the “Online Azerbaijan” project on the use of modern technologies, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
In the first eight months of this year, 491 thousand households in Azerbaijan got access to broadband internet. In total, over 1.3 million households have been provided with broadband internet. This is 49 per cent of existing households in the country. By the end of this year, it is planned to increase the figure to 55%.
