Aztelecom LLC covered 97% of Oghuz region with high-speed Internet

Aztelecom LLC has created an opportunity to connect 97% of existing households and business entities in Oghuz region to high-speed Internet through GPON technology.

Apart from the regional center, the construction of the network has been fully completed in all villages, and broadband Internet services have been provided to the residents. Connection of new subscribers continues.

With the introduction of the new GPON technology, subscribers are offered higher speed (from 30 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s) internet packages (Internet, Internet+telephony, Internet+television, Internet+telephony+television). The cost of services varies from 18 to 54 AZN, depending on the selected tariff and user requirements.

To connect to the services, citizens can call 170 Call Center of Aztelecom, apply to the territorial service department (address:  1 Bakhtiyar Vahabzade St., Oghuz city) or submit an application through the official website of the company.

It should be noted that in 2017–2023, a total of about 2.16 million households and business entities in Azerbaijan got access to broadband Internet. This represents 74% of existing households and business entities in the country.
