Azerpost LLC launches project Extra

Azerpost LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has launched a new project Extra.

The pilot project will initially cover postal items and parcels sent to Baku from Absheron, Sumgait, Siyazan, Shabran, Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Khizi, Ganja, Shamkir, Tovuz, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Yevlakh, Ujar, Kurdamir, Zardab, Mingachevir and Gadabay. Thus, Extra items received in the above-mentioned regions are delivered directly to the addressee within a very short time during the day at the “Shebeke” service center (AZ1144) located in the Baku International Bus Terminal, without carrying out an exchange in the Postal Delivery Center (PDC), and PDC mail departure point (AZ9502). Postal items are accepted only from the point designated by the addressee.

To implement an Extra sending, citizens can apply to any post office in the region with an ID card.

We would like to inform you that addressees can receive their postal items from the “Shebeke” service center (AZ1144) located in Baku International Bus Terminal on all days of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on holidays from 09:00 to 21:00, and from the PDC mail departure point (AZ9502) – 24 hours a day.
