Azerpost LLC issued postage stamps within framework of “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”

In order to strengthen international solidarity in international activities to combat climate change, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on 25 December 2023 to declare 2024 the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.

Azerpost LLC is implementing a number of measures and projects to contribute to this activity. One of them is the issue of standard postage stamps and envelopes with stamps on the theme “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” in several denominations.

The stamp depicts alternative energy and recycling elements, and the stamp itself is made in green, the symbolic color of the flora world.

These stamps and envelopes, which will be used by the post office, are intended for use in internal and external mailings.

It should also be noted that similar projects are planned to continue throughout the year.
