Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss increasing potential of transport corridors

A meeting was held between Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava, who is visiting our country.

At the meeting, they discussed expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport, increasing the potential of transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan and Georgia. The sides exchanged views on the impact of the use of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway on the development of cargo transportation between the two countries.

The meeting also discussed the tariffs for international cargo transportation.

Moreover, the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of aviation, road and water transport was emphasized.
