Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center announces registration for new educational programme

The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, established jointly by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Innovation and Digital Development Agency together with the Israeli Technion Institute, announces registration for a new educational programme.

 

Azerbaijani citizens over the age of 18 who can speak English may apply for training at the center, which was established with the support of PASHA Holding group of companies.

 

Registered candidates will be involved in the exam and interview process at the next stage. Thus, an exam conducted by Israeli experts will test candidates’ logical and analytical thinking abilities, knowledge and skills in the field of ICT, as well as level of English proficiency. After that, 60 people who successfully pass this stage will then be interviewed and be eligible to participate in the training.  

 

People admitted to the programme will be trained according to the Technion Institute’s training programme, and will be taught theoretical and practical knowledge by Israeli trainers. The training will last for 6 months from 09:00 to 17:00. It is planned to train three types of specialists: Red Team (attack), Blue Team (defence) and SOC Team (analytics). During the training period, teams of 20 trainees in three types of specialties (attack, defense and analytics) will develop their skills by participating in simulations. Successful trainees will be awarded official certificates from the Technion Institute.

The deadline for registration is 31 May 2023.

 

It should be noted that over 1,000 people are expected to study at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center within 3 years. In addition to training specialized personnel, the training will include information training, trainings to improve the skills of senior cybersecurity specialists, research and preparation of cybersecurity products.
