Azerbaijan Contributes to the Preparation of the ITF Transport Outlook

At a meeting of the Transport Research Committee of the International Transport Forum (ITF), participants discussed the preparation of the Transport Outlook 2027 report, one of ITF’s flagship analytical reports.

The ITF Secretariat commended the work of the Working Group established for this purpose and expressed its appreciation to the 12 countries, including Azerbaijan, for their significant contributions to the process.

Azerbaijan is represented in the Working Group by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The Ministry actively participates in discussions on international transport policy, sustainable mobility, digitalization, and future transport trends.

The Transport Outlook is one of ITF’s flagship reports, providing insights into key global transport trends, long-term development scenarios, and policy recommendations. The report serves as an important reference for transport policymaking and is prepared through the collaborative efforts of experts from ITF member countries.
