Armenian provocation against media representatives

Armenia, which has been consistently suffering defeat on the battlefield from the Azerbaijani army, resorts to all kinds of provocations in the information war. Thus, this time the enemy targeted local media representatives.

A group of journalists and bloggers from Azerbaijan received messages from the numbers of mobile operators of European countries via WhatsApp on the pretext of a “job offer”. In the texts of the messages, in exchange for high salaries, journalists are offered “jobs” as a correspondent and reporter in front-line areas. The essence of the “job” proposal is to make videos and take photos from the war zone and send to them.

The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies reports the messages sent are provocative. We urge local media representatives to be extremely cautious when they face such situations, not to allow Armenians to achieve their selfish intentions against our country.
