About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Appeal Board of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies holds regular meeting

The Appeal Board established in the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies in accordance with Decree #762 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 3, 2016 “On creation of Appeal Boards in central and local executive authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan” has held its regular meeting.

At the meeting, the appeals of citizens in connection with the results of an interview on admission to the civil service held on October 21, 2019 for the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies were considered. The citizens’ appeals were heard, comprehensively studied and discussed with their participation. In conclusion, appropriate decisions were taken in accordance with the requirements of legislation.
