Another radio & TV station in Gubadly resumed operation

The radio and television station, located in Balasoltanly village of Gubadly region, fell into disrepair during the Armenian occupation.

As part of the ongoing work to restore the radio and television broadcasting network in the territories liberated from occupation, a power line was laid to the station, the technical building was repaired, and the station was equipped with technical means and made fully ready for broadcasting.

Thus, two 1 kW FM radio transmitters, one 300 W television transmitter, 1x2 antenna systems for FM radio broadcasting and 3x1 antenna systems for television broadcasting, as well as other necessary technical facilities were installed and put into operation.

As a result, broadcasting of Azerbaijan Radio on 89.5 MHz, Public Radio on 96.9 MHz and eight TV programs on the 43rd TV channel (650 MHz) (AzTV, Public TV, Sport Azerbaijan TV, Culture TV, CBC Sport, ATV, Khazar TV, Space TV) was ensured in the areas of Gubadly, Lachin and Zangilan regions not covered by signals of other stations.

To date, seven radio and television stations have been restored in the territories liberated from occupation, including the Khanlig radio and television station in Gubadly region on 25 October 2021.

It should be noted that the restoration work is being carried out in accordance with the implementation of the I State Program on the Great Return to the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from the occupation.
