An event dedicated to 98th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev held at Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies

The primary territorial party organization of the New Azerbaijan Party of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies held a video conference dedicated to the 98th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The conference was attended by representatives of the ministry and subordinate bodies.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade spoke about the glorious life path traveled by national leader Heydar Aliyev, his rich activities, saving mission, as well as unprecedented merits shown in difficult times of the Azerbaijani people.

He noted that the strength, intelligence, courage, political will and wisdom of personalities play an irreplaceable role in the life of their peoples, the states they have established. The architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, great leader Heydar Aliyev occupies a special place among these personalities.

Noting that the basic principles of Azerbaijan’s development were laid down by the national leader, and today they are being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Deputy Minister stressed the fact that today Azerbaijan is recognized and supported in the world as a developed, safe and reliable partner state both during the period of independence and in the Soviet period as a result of the far-sighted policy of  great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Then ministry’s deputy chief of staff Asif Ismayilov also addressed the event. He stressed that today the availability of highly qualified personnel in all areas is the result of the great leader’s far-sighted personnel policy, and as for now, one of the most important issues is studying the rich legacy of a genius personality and bringing it to the attention of today’s youth.

In conclusion, it was noted that the merits of the national leader in protecting our national traditions, statehood, as well as history and language are invaluable. Therefore, the memory of the great leader will always live in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people and be remembered with deep respect.
