About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Aircraft and helicopter test flights carried out in preparation for TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan

As is well known, TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival will be held in Baku on 26–29 May.

We would like to bring to the attention of the public that in preparation for the festival test flights of aircraft and helicopters are being carried out on the territory of the Baku Seaside Boulevard.

These flights will also continue in the run-up to and during the festival.
