Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khankendi aerodromes included in international geographic coordinate index list

The State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has appealed to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with a request to include six airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the international geographic coordinate index list. ICAO responded positively to the request of the agency.

The new edition of ICAO Document No 7910/178, which will be published in December this year, will include the names and codes of six more airports of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that along with airports of Zabrat, Yevlakh and Naftalan, the aerodromes of Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khankendi will be included in the updated register of the international organization.

At the same time, information on aerodromes will be reflected in the new edition of the Collection of Aeronautical Information of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
