A protocol was signed following negotiations between Azerbaijani and Chinese delegations

A protocol was signed following a two-day discussion between the Chinese delegation, arrived in our country in connection with the creation of a working group on transport between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People’s Republic of China, and Azerbaijani delegation.
From the Azerbaijani side, the document was signed by Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade, and from the Chinese side – Director General of the Department of Transport Services of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China Hu Yahuan.
The protocol reflected the issues of promoting the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route when carrying out cargo transportation within the East-West international transport corridor, the allocation of subsidies for container transport by the Chinese provinces through the Central Corridor, expanding the opportunities of the Baku International Sea Trade Port by transport and logistics operators of China, as well as accelerating the adoption of necessary measures to sign draft agreements that are currently under consideration between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of People’s Republic of China on international road transport and combined transport.
