June 23, declared by the UN General Assembly as the United Nations Public Service Day, is celebrated as a professional holiday of civil servants in the Republic of Azerbaijan by the  relevant order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated May 25, 2006.
