About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

A block of postage stamps dedicated to “Naftalan Medicinal Oil” issued

Azerpost LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has issued a block of postage stamps dedicated to the theme “Naftalan Medicinal Oil”.

The issue is made in the form of a one-stamp souvenir sheet. The size of the stamp is 40.3 x 40.3 mm, the sheet – 52x69 mm.

The postal block was printed in Bobruisk Integrated Printing House in Belarus with a print run of 5,000 copies.

The author of the postage stamp is artist Orkhan Garayev.

Additionally, 200 First Day Covers were issued.
