Results of contest for journalists held in connection with 140th anniversary of telephone communications in Azerbaijan made public

The results of the media contest announced by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of telephone communications in Azerbaijan have been announced.

According to the decision of the jury, the report authored by Zhala Guliyeva and aired on the program “Business Azerbaijan” of the Public TV (İctimai TV) became the winner in the nomination “Best Report”.

The article “Azerbaijan Communications: 140-Year Path from Telephone to Digital Transformation” by Tural Ibadli, an employee of the news agency Report.az became the winner in the nomination “Best Article”.

Nuray Veliyeva, the author of the report aired on the “News” program of Azerbaijan Television (AzTV) received an incentive award in the nomination “Best Report”, and Ayten Novruzova, the author of the article “A Look at the Special Day of the 140-Year Line” published on the portal Publika.az received an incentive award in the nomination “Best Article”.

The winners and participants who received incentive prizes were awarded certificates.

Cash prizes will be awarded to winners and incentive certificate holders.
