Renovated Absheron branch of Azerpost opened

Azerpost LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has renovated and put into operation a post office with the index AZ0100, located in Absheron district, and one of its largest branches. Customers can now use a range of services, such as domestic and international mails, money transfers and utility payments at the renovated branch.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the branch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azerpost  LLC Afgan Jalilov said that the Absheron branch, which includes 24 post offices, has undergone major repairs, the number of employees has been increased in order to improve the service level, and an electronic queueing system has been established. Over 30 employees will serve citizens in the branch, which consists of two large customer service areas. A POS terminal for non-cash payments has also been installed to ensure transparency in postal operations.

It should be noted that a postage stamp corner has also been created at the branch by Azerpost LLC, taking into account of philatelists. Along with postage stamps, postal cards, postcards and other philatelic products will be presented to citizens here.

We would like to inform you that branch post offices of Azerpost LLC, which are moving into the renovation phase, will be consecutively repaired according to the plan.

Azerpost LLC, in addition to traditional postal services, also provides non-traditional services such as banking, insurance, electronic payments, deposits and other similar financial, as well as business services.
