Registration for trainings of Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center begun
The registration process for the trainings to be held by the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center, established under an agreement signed between the e-Security Service of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Israeli Technion University, has begun. Azerbaijani citizens, who have reached the age of 18, and speak English, can apply to participate in the cyber security trainings.
The selection of participants will take place in several stages. At the initial stage, those wishing to take part in the training will apply by registering online. Only registered candidates will be eligible to participate in the next stages. Then, the candidates’ logical and analytical thinking abilities, their IT knowledge and English level will be tested. Moreover, in the last stage, they will be interviewed and 60 people who successfully pass the interview will be eligible to participate in the trainings.
Those admitted to the programme will participate in trainings to be conducted by teaching staff of the Technion University for a period of six months. The training will be conducted in English. In addition to gaining knowledge of networks, programming, operating systems, participants will specialize in various areas of cyber security. Those who successfully complete the training programme will receive a certificate from Technion University and become a cyber security specialist.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center will train more than 1,000 local specialists within the next three years. In addition, the center envisages training of trainers, improvement of knowledge and skills of existing specialists, as well as organization of trainings for executives.
