Ramin Guluzade signs obituary on heavy casualties in Tigris river ferry crash

Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, co-chair of the Azerbaijani-Iraqi Intergovernmental Commission Ramin Guluzade visited the embassy of Iraq in Baku and signed an obituary in connection with the heavy loss of human lives as a result of the crash of a ferry on the Tigris river near the city of Mosul, Iraq on March 21, 2019.

The obituary says:

Dear Mr. Fadhil Awad Jebur AL-Shuwaili,

I was deeply saddened by the news of heavy casualties as a result of the crash of a ferry on the Tigris river near the city of Mosul in Iraq.

On the occasion of this tragedy, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families and loved ones of those who died, and the whole people of Iraq, and wish those injured the swiftest possible recovery.

May those died rest in peace!
