MTCHT's scientific journal ranks 19th among 252 international publications
The annual report of the agency Clarivate Analytics (previously Thomson Reuters) for 2017 has been published. The report reflects information on changes in the agency's rating over the past period, the dynamics of the impact factor of its scientific journals. According to the Agency’s latest data, the coefficient of impact of the international scientific journal Applied and Computational Mathematics published in Azerbaijan increased from 1.333 to 2.365.
The Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Academician Fikret Aliyev said that the journal, published with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT), is the first and the only Azerbaijani scientific publication, which in 2008 was included in the expanded list of Thomson Reuters. It is worthwhile to say that in the current rating, the journal took 19th place among 252 scientific journals covering the sphere of applied mathematics and high technologies. Up to now, 41 issues of the journal have been published, on the pages of which some 450 articles from more than 40 countries have been published.
The journal publishes scientific articles relating to various fields of applied mathematics and received high reviews. For 16 years of its activity, the publication has implemented scientific exchange with more than 200 international academic institutions from 45 countries.
