About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

MTCHT holds meeting of Appeal Board

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) held a meeting of the Appeal Board, which was established in accordance with the presidential decree "On the establishment of Appeal Boards in central and local executive bodies”.

At the meeting, held under the supervision of the chairman of the Appeal Board, reports were heard on the issues included in the agenda, opinions and proposals on these issues were voiced, and appropriate decisions were made.

Then, the chairman of the Appeal Board gave relevant instructions and recommendations on a comprehensive and objective investigation of the complaints received, as well as on the implementation of organizational measures to redress the complaints.
