About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Goygol on November 22

The date of reception of citizens by Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev in the city of Goygol (citizens from Samukh, Dashkesen, Goygol, Khojaly, Shamkir, Gadabey, Kalbajar regions, as well as Ganja and Naftalan cities), scheduled for November 11, 2022 in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions by heads of central executive authorities and other government bodies, has been changed.

Rashad Nabiyev will receive citizens of the above-mentioned regions at 10:00 am on 22 November 2022 at Heydar Aliyev Center in Goygol city (address: Goygol city, Hummel 2).
