First regular intercity bus route to Fuzuli launched
A regular Baku–Fuzuli–Baku intercity bus route was launched today. The first bus left Baku International Bus Terminal at 07:00 am.
Along the way, passengers observed destroyed villages and ruined infrastructure. After 5 hours, the passengers arrived in Fuzuli, which they had been dreaming of for years. They witnessed how their homeland, which they left 30 years ago, became unrecognizable as a result of Armenian vandalism. The attempt to wipe out the historical and cultural heritage of our people from the face of the Earth, the terror committed against houses, monuments, even graves and mosques, once again demonstrates that Armenian savagery knows no boundaries.
Accompanied by a guide, the citizens visited the Merdinli village mosque, the center of the city of Fuzuli, Fuzuli International Airport and Garghabazar Caravanserai complex on a pre-determined route.
In order to inform and instruct passengers, videos on mine safety provided by the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) are shown on the buses. A brochure with mine safety instructions is also placed on each seat. The buses are equipped with first aid kits.
It should be noted that since January 24, State Road Transport Service has operated 206 bus trips to the territories liberated from occupation and 8,857 people have visited Shusha and Aghdam.
In order to ensure the systematization of passenger transport and the formation of a database on passenger transport, ticket sales for the routes are carried out online via the portal www.yolumuzqarabaga.az. The online ticketing portal has been integrated into the relevant information systems to ensure security and synchronize access to the liberated territories with the ticketing process and to identify those to whom the discount will be applied.
