Baku hosting meeting of RCC Commission on regulation of radiofrequency spectrum and satellite orbits
Baku is hosting the meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) Commission on regulation of the use of the radio-frequency spectrum and satellite orbits and its working groups.
44 experts from 7 RCC member countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Turkmenistan) are attending the meeting, which will run until June 8.
The participants are discussing the regulation of radio and television broadcasts, radiofrequencies and mobile communication signals, as well as preparations for a Plenipotentiary Conference to be held this year and the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC) scheduled for 2019.
It should be noted that the RCC Commission on regulation of the use of the radiofrequency spectrum and satellite orbits and its working groups are engaged in developing principles and technical parameters for the introduction of new radio technologies and coordination of radiofrequencies between countries.
