About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Azerpost to introduce a new service

Azerpost LLC of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) launches a new social project. The new project involves finding lost documents. Thus, citizens will be able to present any documents found to any post office. Persons who have lost their documents will get opportunity to obtain relevant information about it from the nearest post office of Azerpost. If a lost document is found, they will be able to get it.

Work is currently underway on the implementation of this social project. Detailed information on the new service will be made public in the nearest time.
