4 year-old “Shebeke”

The first “Shebeke” service center was created on initiative of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies on February 10, 2017.
Ten “Shebeke” service centers are currently operating all over the country. Six of them are located in Baku, while the other four are situated in Jalilabad, Zagatala, Sumgayit and Agdash. Arrangements to create “Shebeke” service centers in all districts of Baku, and in other major cities and regions of the country are underway.
In this regard, the main goal is about offering services meeting high standards and trasparency, and providing support and assistance to citizens without being excessively time consuming.
For this purpose, eight departments of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies provide services to the citizens at the modern service centers from a single space.
In addition to traditional telecommunication and postal services, Banking, financial, tourist and flight tickets services are also offered at “Shebeke” centers.
These centers also sell Azerbaijani and international payment cards, envelopes, stamps, compulsory insurance, money-orders, and process payments of the budget, utilities, Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, as well as IMEI registration of mobile devices.
Moreover, customers can use special self-service terminals at the centers. The payment of utility bills, mobile, communications and other services are also available by means of “SmartPay” – payment system.
The service centers are open 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays.
It should be noted that that more than 1 million 91 thousand 215 citizens have applied to the “Shebeke” service centers and derived benefit from different services in the last one year.
