The Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was established by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2199 dated July 13, 2016.

The purpose of establishing the Commission is to create a business environment that will ensure optimal business performance and be based on competitive principles, increase the country’s investment attractiveness, improve business related legislation and governance mechanisms to further improve Azerbaijan’s position in international rankings and take other necessary measures in this regard.
