Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, AZAL, Zafar Public Association organized tour for martyr children

On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s civil aviation and International Children’s Day, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport together with AZAL and Public Association for Supporting Martyrs’ Families “Zafar” have organized a tour for children to Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The event aimed to help children to gain interesting experience and expand their knowledge of aviation.

The tour participants, who got acquainted with the aviation equipment and the structure of the airport, were given information about the operation of the airport and passenger services.

Participants visited various facilities of the airport, including the maintenance hangar, canine and fire services. They also boarded a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Here, the young guests talked with AZAL pilots and flight attendants. In this way, the participants received information about aviation and were able to feel themselves as part of a large and interesting world.

At the end of the event, the children were presented with gifts.
